Dermaplaning Aftercare
Following your dermaplaning treatment, your skin may appear slightly pink or feel more sensitive as the surface layer of dead skin cells has been removed. Proper aftercare will help support skin recovery and maintain your results.
For the next 3–7 days:
- Avoid direct sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily.
- Avoid harsh exfoliants, scrubs, retinol, AHA/BHA acids, and active ingredients until your skin has fully settled.
- Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser and soothing skincare products.
- Avoid excessive heat, including saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for 24–48 hours.
- Avoid intense exercise and activities that cause excessive sweating for 24 hours.
- Avoid waxing, threading, or other hair removal treatments on the treated area for at least 1 week.
- Avoid picking, scratching, or manually exfoliating the skin.
